We have just spent a lovely day at The Grange in Norfolk. The Grange is a family home / small holding in Norfolk which opens its doors to people who have survived torture and extreme violence and those fleeing persecution. It really is an inspiring place and was the venue chosen by the Federtation of City farms and community gardens for the workshop 'If Life gives you apples'
We were lucky to be asked to talk about our journey into the world of cider making and share what we have learnt along the way to other projects similar to us looking to create an income to help sustain their project in the future.
We met some lovely people and heard about some great projects which are happening from Peterborough to as far as West Norfolk.
We hope to visit The Grange again for one of their upcoming workshops as they've got a lot of interesting things coming up the pipeline including a weaving and potters workshop area currently being developed.
Perhaps we can go and help plant some cider trees there one day!
Thanks for the great hospitatlity and to the FCFCG for inviting us to share our journey.
